The village of Bournville was created by Quakers Richard and George Cadbury at the end of the nineteenth century to provide housing for the workers in their nearby factory. Holy Ghost was sited adjacent to the Friends Meeting House on the village green, launched with a performance by The Voice of God, a Birmingham-based gospel choir.
